Very pleased with this company all around. Received a quote that was cheaper than the competition and spending less did not come at a sacrifice to quality. They were able to come a lot sooner than the other quotes I got as well. So it really was an easy decision. The gentleman (Jim) who came to my home to quote the job was incredibly knowledgeable. He clearly enjoys what he does and took time giving me some care tips for my various plants and trees. I was leaning early on going with the larger companies with a certified arborist but Jim’s knowledge and attentiveness sold me. The team showed up on time and cleaned up well. No complaints. For the job our neighbor has a gnarly fig tree that took a beating from the freeze and some bugs. Needed many large heavy limbs cut. First image is after the cut second is showing the “infected” limbs.
Tree planting in Melbourne, FL
Right Coast Tree Care provides professional tree planting services for homeowners across Melbourne and Brevard County.
Expert Tree planting in Melbourne, FL
Tree planting in Melbourne takes more planning than most homeowners expect. Brevard County's sandy soils hold little organic matter, and properties near the coast face salt air that stresses the wrong species quickly. Choosing a tree that fits your soil drainage, sun exposure, and proximity to structures is what separates a tree that thrives from one that fails to establish. At Right Coast Tree Care, we handle species selection, site evaluation, proper hole depth, root ball placement, and post-planting soil care. Ryan Ward built this company on getting the details right the first time, drawing on hands-on operations experience across Florida's tree industry. We serve Melbourne, Palm Bay, Merritt Island, Rockledge, Titusville, Satellite Beach, West Melbourne, Cocoa, Suntree, Malabar, Indialantic, Valkaria, Micco, Port St. John, Canaveral Groves, Melbourne Beach, Fellsmere, and Grant. If you want a new tree planted correctly from the start, call us.

Tree planting FAQ
Common questions about tree planting in Melbourne, FL.
We plant a range of species suited to Brevard County's climate, including live oaks, cabbage palms, Southern magnolias, and other Florida-adapted trees. We match the species to your specific yard conditions before any planting begins.
The right tree depends on your soil drainage, sun exposure, available space, and how close the planting spot is to your home or utilities. We assess those factors at your Palm Bay property before recommending any species.
Planting depth, root ball handling, and soil preparation directly affect whether a tree survives in Melbourne's sandy soil. Getting those steps wrong early often leads to a tree that struggles or dies within the first growing season.
Yes, we evaluate root spread and mature canopy size before choosing a planting location near any structure in Rockledge. Keeping roots clear of foundations and underground lines is part of how we plan every job.
Yes, properties in Satellite Beach face salt air that rules out many common tree species. We select salt-tolerant trees that are proven to perform in coastal Brevard County conditions.
